WHAT IS A PHOTOFACIAL?
Photofacials or IPL – Intense Pulsed Light – is a non-invasive treatment tailored to address various skin concerns like hyperpigmentation, vascular lesions, and signs of aging. It utilizes broad-spectrum light energy to effectively target and treat your skin.
HOW DOES IT WORK?

WHAT TO EXPECT POST TREATMENT?
After your treatment you may see some mild dryness or peeling for one to two weeks. This peeling or shedding of skin is due to apoptosis – which is your natural cell death process. It is necessary in order to help new cells arise and revealing a brighter and smoother complexion.
POST TREATMENT PROTOCOL:
Your skincare professional will advise you of your post procedure protocols. We always recommend avoiding exercise for the first 48 hours. Strenuous physical activity may cause you to sweat, and the combination of heat, moisture, and loose clothing could inhibit proper healing.
Protecting your skin is important at all times but especially so after your treatments. The sun can impact the treatment results or even accelerate any pre-existing sun damage. You should wear protective SPF 30+ sunscreen every day, even on cloudy days, as daily exposure to UV radiation is unavoidable without protection.
