Dermal Fillers

Whether you are an experienced Dermal Filler client or new to the world of Injectables, we have you covered. Our dedicated Registered Nurse Candyce Bell is here to help you decide where to start and what direction to go. But first, here’s a little information for those starting from scratch.
WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS?
Dermal fillers are gel-like solutions that are injected into your skin to add fullness and volume to specific areas of the face. They also work to diminish the appearance of fine lines and can even be used to enhance features like cheek contours and facial structure.
HOW DO THEY WORK?
As we age, we lose volume in certain areas of the face which can make us look tired and sunken, or even worse, saggy. This is caused by the body’s decreased ability to produce collagen and elastin. Unlike wrinkles which might require muscle relaxants like Botox to soften them, facial volume and folds require a dermal filler to help improve the appearance of the area.
WHAT ARE THEY MADE OF?
Dermal fillers are made from a substance that occurs naturally in our body – Hyaluronic Acid – a sugar molecule that exists naturally in almost all living organisms. Hyaluronic Acid Fillers offer instant, natural-looking results to smooth the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles, contour the face, lift and boost your skin.
HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?
The duration of which your Dermal Fillers will last is dependent on a number of factors. They usually last 6-12 months, but this depends on how much product was used, which product was used, and how fast your body processes the Filler.
