Radio-Frequency travels via electrodes to deliver a non-invasive painless treatment, which can be controlled by the device’s settings for optimal results.
HOW DOES FORMA WORK?
Forma is the first thermal skin treatment that is pain-free and offers dynamic results. It uses Radio-frequency power that flows evenly between the electrodes to warm the layers of skin and make the muscles contract. This heat and contraction trigger the body, making it think it is injured, and tricking it into producing new collagen to the area to heal it. The result is tighter, smoother skin with better lift and contour – which can be seen instantly.
Forma has a thermal temperature sensor built into the handpiece allowing clinicians to acquire correct skin temperature in real-time. The RF deliver provides unprecedented safety and the “cut off temperature” feature reduces RF energy automatically when the handpiece senses the optimal skin temperature has been reached.
Clinical evidence suggests prolonged exposure to temperature above 40°C is advantageous for optimal clinical outcomes.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
Forma can be used on both the face and body. Commonly treated areas on the face include: forehead, crows feet, upper eyelids, lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, jowls, smile lines and neck. On the body, popular treatments consist of the arms (bat wings), abdomen and other areas that may need more refinement.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WITH THE FORMA TREATMENT?
Forma is an essentially painless procedure with no downtime due to its precise technology and deep-layer targeting of the skin. Slight redness in the treatment area is common post-procedure, which subsides within a few hours.
HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE RECOMMENDED?
It is recommended that weekly sessions are performed over a six-week period. Individuals may be treated in fewer sessions with more weeks between each treatment. Scheduling should be based on a medical pre-evaluation.
CAN FORMA BE COMBINED WITH OTHER TREATMENTS?
Yes, Forma can be used in combination with most other laser treatments, facials, injectables and/or filler. Please speak to your aesthetic provider when considering combining Forma with other treatments.
