Cosmetic Tattooing & Microblading
Our Permanent Cosmetic services are performed by the very talented Cathy Corbett who has been a part of the Cosmetic Tattooing industry for nine years. Her journey into Permanent Cosmetics came from her background in art and she carried out her year apprenticeship with one of Canada’s best Permanent Makeup Artists, Sandra Danchuk out of Nanaimo right here on Vancouver Island.
EYEBROWS
There are different types of techniques and styles for Eyebrow Tattooing.
Permanent Makeup is specialized cosmetic tattooing done with a machine. Some of the techniques are referred to as micro-pigmentation, feathering, and hair strokes. The makeup is applied by depositing coloured pigment into the dermis of the skin. It is long-lasting but will need touch-ups due to UV exposure and natural skin exfoliation. Touch-ups are done every two to five years. The beauty of permanent makeup is that it allows you to look your best 24/7.
On the other hand, there is Microblading which is done with a hand tool that doesn’t go as deep in the dermis of the skin as cosmetic tattooing. The natural hair strokes are very thin and this technique is great for defining your brows, covering gaps, or fill-in over plucked brows. Touch-ups are needed 1 to 3 years depending on after care, UV exposure and natural skin exfoliation.
Combining both techniques of Cosmetic and Micro tattooing can result in a permanent beautiful hair stroke 3D brow.
Another technique you may have heard about is Nano Brows. This type of Cosmetic Tattooing utilizes very a very fine needles to create thin strokes with differentiating placement. Many individuals choose to undergo this procedure for an instant solution to create fuller brows and overcome hair loss due to aging or medical conditions. The final result is called Nano Brows because the ink’s natural stroke-like appearance makes it nearly indistinguishable from your real hair follicles. Not everyone is a candidate for nano brows, but our Cosmetic Tattoo Artist will guide you towards what works best for you.
Now you can have beautifully shaped eyebrows 24 hrs a day. Cathy creates as natural or dramatic look as you would like using a hair stroke technique. Colour selection is unlimited.

Exquisite eyeliner can be yours in any colour you choose. Lash enhancements, thin line, medium line or dramatic line. A thread of exotic colour can be added to your base.

LIP LINER
Uneven lips can be reshaped into a perfect lip line, made fuller and more youthful. Have you always wanted a cupid’s bow? Now it can be yours!

After years and years of being insecure about my eyebrows, not ever wanting to leave the house with out them being done, feeling shy whenever I went swimming or was sweating because they would wipe off. I finally got the chance to have them done by Cathy and I cant believe I didn’t get them done sooner in my life. It truly gives me more confidence and makes me feel amazing the minute my feet hit the floor in the morning when I start my day. After seeing four of my friend go get their eyebrows done by Cathy, I said to my mom, This is who I feel we should have a consultation with.After taking her to the appointment and seeing her professionalism, the spa, and her work, we not only booked my mom’s brows but I also booked eyeliner! Then a month later, I went back to get my lips done. Mom went back and got her lips done after that!
I loved how this summer, with all the camping, swimming, yard work and everyday stuff, I always had my makeup on! I get so many compliments now, it makes me blush. My mom is older and has probably taken ten years off of her. She now wants to go back and get the eyeliner too.
